Ritzlal you sound exactly the same as me with ASB etc.  I have now tried to order and have reestablished the same Youshop address and removed and replaced the same CC on Wallet but no joy at all. Has been cancelled 6 or 7 times now (you think I would learn).

To me it points to a change in what Google are doing to verify the CC details.  Most frustrating.

I too am keen to find a solution.......ANYONE?


Haha 6-7 times :) you're very patient! I tried twice and got frustrated. Told a friend I'd get him the 8GB Nexus for $400NZD or less but I haven't been able to deliver for him!

I wonder if they are checking the name on the credit card and the name in Google Wallet since my name in Google Wallet is "NZ***** Firstname Lastname" which is according to YouShop (matched YouShop address to Google Wallet). Something has changed but I just can't figure out what!


You can remove your YouShop ID from the name line, as long as you still include it on another address line. Probably better as you say they will likely match the CC Name with the top line of the address?

LOL. That's why I tried so many times. I changed things like that each attempt but each one came back cancelled. I ordered and received an orb 6 weeks ago, so something has changed since then I feel

How long does it usually take for Google to cancel an order, a few hours? Less than a day? .. This is day #2 that it's sitting as processing.

My previous one was cancelled within 2 days. I have ordered through the Play store again last night. Not cancelled as yet. Just out of curiosity. Have you ordered previously? What bank are you with? Thanks.

I haven't ordered previously. I haven't been thoroughly through the thread so i'm not sure on all the issues people have been having lately and how frustrating google has been. (Here's hoping I don't get to experience some of them.)

I'm with ANZ. (Been checking my secure bank mail as I thought I read somewhere about getting sent mail RE the payment to google.)

Well I have just started all over again to see if that helps at all.  Setup a new gmail address new wallet with a direct debit card from ASB.  Same Youshop address.  Ordered another 8GB nexus.

I did the whole process using Tunnel Bear so the only thing that will Wiff of NZ will be my Credit Card

Lets see how this one goes.  Surprised

All my previous orders have been cancelled after the two day mark.

Would be keen to hear if anyone else has managed to do this in the last couple of weeks

Alright I've just done this too. About two hours ago I got an email saying the order was cancelled :(
