For those have root and want a custom recovery, TWRP is now available for the Note 4 and seems to work nicely.

Any ideas on where to get a Note 4 S View case?

Noel Leemings were happy to debit my credit card 6 weeks ago, and now say it will another 4 weeks before it arrives

Billing in advance like that is a pretty poor customer centric policy IMHO

Thank you for using my money.

My wife wont use hers until she gets a cover and I have also been waiting for NL, so in the interim I just grabbed a $13 clone off TradeMe to at least get her using it.

PB had the non charging ones in a few weeks ago. I got a gold one because why not.

When the charging ones are finally in I will get a black one.

Is Screen at the top of your battery usage? How do Android System and Android OS compare with the screen % usage

Screen is on top yes. The Android system and Google play services is taking up an aweful lot of battery as well. I just deactivated S Voice, S Health and removed location reporting for Grabone (which is a battery hog as well).

I didnt think I would have to do all that. But ya. Lets see what sort of battery I get today. I was hoping for a good 5 hours screen on time (texting, surfing etc)

I would wait till there are more sales for boxing day advertised and then try to get one of the places that does price matching to do that.

We've just seen a significant price drop of the Galaxy Note 4 in the UK so hopefully this is a worldwide price adjustment as stocks flow.

Previously consumers were having to commit to a monthly line rental cost of £40+ in order to get a free (no upfront cost) Note 4, however this has dropped this week right down to just £33 a month which also includes unlimited calls and text plus 1GB monthly data.

It seems that more and more retailers are now getting their hands on the model and prices are becoming more competitive - great news!
