Ok thanks for your thoughts on that, at the moment I'm stuck between Gen X and R64, I think I like R64 just because it's more clean and professional looking. I also tried tangerine which is a port from a Nexus S theme, that's a very polished theme, just not me. One thing I love about Gen X is the cool animations :P

I just flashed Doc's v9.9 ZSJPG Rom and swapped from Gen X to R64 theme. It's pretty nice and I like the notification bar a little better as it's readable now. I have not noticed a dramatic speed increase with ZSJPG after installing all of my apps (130+)

Wow, 130 apps is insane.

I did try something different, I got the Va Green Mod theme as a base and added bits and pieces from R64's Radioactive Green theme(mainly the notification bar). Turned out alright, I guess.

Does anyone have a cwm flashable file that can reinstall Swype?

You can do it manually; Swype is made up of 2 files, swype.apk, and libSwypeCore.so - using Root Explorer set to R/W:

- copy swype.apk to /system/app
- copy libSwypeCore.so to /system/lib
- reboot

Pretty sure that should work!!

+1 , I just upgraded ftom JS7 and I can definitely feel a speed increase; very quick at loading long lists and menus aswell as apps, so far battery seems very good too

I was having issues with ZSJPG being slow (random pauses) so thought reformatting from EXT4 to RFS and back again would help, ended up not being able to boot so just reflashed the rom from CWM and now it's a lot faster.

So are you still running RFS? I have to say that EXT4 doesn't seem to make much difference speed-wise, and in some cases, it almost feels less-smooth than RFS. . . . . .Who'da thunk it?

Yeah that makes sense - I don't ever have a lot of apps installed (around 65), so it probably doesn't have the same impact.

EXT4 is supposedly more battery-efficient than RFS too, but I've never found much difference.

Just read on XDA before that Doc is saying ZSJPG has a few bugs - will take another look next week.

Have you done any tests without any lag fix? I still haven't lag fixed, haven't in probably 3 months and I find the phone smooth and responsive.

Running doc's build 9.9 and I'm getting that bug where sometimes all the sound starts going to the small front speaker instead of the speaker on the back. does anyone know how to fix this from happening? apart from this and asphalt 5 disappearing after re-boots 9.9 seems fine and quick.
