I mostly just get emails and texts from my partner. I just turned 25 so I'm not old but don't have many friends anyhow.

lofreq, whats the name of your homescreen/weather widget?

its Simi clock on top, with Simi weather widget below left, and circle battery widget below right

Simi weather came as part of the Simi clock suite, and was free.

Aww lokhor, and so young too :)

Anyway, my question, in my old age I've forgotten where the setting is that you can say you don't want any audible notifications between a certain start/end time.

I've looked in all the usual places and am stumped.

I'm tired of having email chime at me at 4am.  No, I'm not that popular, just shopping sites trying to get me interested.

Shrapnel: Doc Rom v11 ZSJPK out in the kitchen

Installed ZSJPK, was getting force closure(gingerbread keyboard) from boot, gone back to V10 ZSJPG, reading up on XDA forum it seems that there are few issues with ZSJPK, I might stay put with V10 and update to gingerbread once a stable version is released.

I don't know if there is any built in ability to schedule push email/email checking - I use JuiceDefender to disable data from 12pm-7am and also turn my phone to vibrate at night - this doesn't affect the alarm going off.

Hmm seems like my auto-rotation stopped working. Can't seem to get any application to go from portrait to landscape.

Nothing fancy on my phone.  No additional app for notifications, just the standard "sound" choices in Gmail.

I thought it was a setting in the phone, not of an app.  I'm losing the plot!

Thanks fallen for the suggestions.  Will look at those later.  Cheers

Have done multiple restarts and have checked to see if auto-rotation is not off etc etc.

I think I will just flash up to Doc's Rom v10 and hopefully that fixes it. Was meaning to do so anyway.

One other possible cure, switch launcher, restart, and switch back to your preferred launcher again. If it works, it's a lot easier than a ROM flash. But of course, if you really want to flash... Smile

I find NoLED to be the biz - tiny, configurable easily (important for the hard of thinking like myself), and absolutely reliable. Only glitch is that it doesn't automagically enable itself again following an update from the Market, but the associated widget makes re-enabling it a doddle. It always remembers its settings. Highly worthwhile.

Five stars from me.

Cheers,
R2D2

Ok, you've sold me on it.  I even used my precious mobile data to download it.  Set the sleep thingy and enabled it via the widget.  I hope that was all I needed.  Cheers.
