networkn: In titanium backup pro, how do I restore say 20 apps and data, by batch mode?

Top right corner, a rectangle with a tick on it will bring up batch options

Right but I can't see which option under restore I would pick. They all seem like template options that will run automatically none of which suit me without modification. Sorry if I am being dumb?

If you only want selected apps restored select the option that best suits (User/System/ALL) it will then show a list with all selected. Click on deselect all and reselect the ones you want restored, then tap the green tick :)

Ah that was what I wanted. I thought it was going to work like that but I was worried in case it didn't.

Yep, I hate that feeling of - If I click this is it going to give me more options or just run willy nilly

I'm not a complete idiot, I still have some parts missing.

Yeah titanium backup has a horrible user interface - why they'd hide all the useful functionailty in a little icon in the top right beats me... :)

monkey300: Cheers, I haven't noticed any bugs tho - apart from the phone being a little warm a few times when taking it out of my pocket (but always cool when on the desk, strangely - maybe some motion thing is staying enabled when it shouldnt be?)

is that on the leaked version? if so are you still having them

Noticed it 2 or 3 times when I initially installed, but not recently so much - battery life seems pretty decent, been making quite a few calls with it recently.

I'm using the official leaked version - will keep an eye on it and let you know.

I'd be interested as to specifically what other issues are supposed to be happening with the leaked version..

I tried Omega 4.2.1 and it was a DISASTER. So many issues took me 4 hours to decide to switch back.

Good to know - did you do a full wipe first?

What issues did you have on Omega?

Yup I did a full wipe. I had issues with battery being drained in 3 hours which others have had, problems with lock screens, graphics issues, gaming was terrible. Worst ROM I've used I think. It's slated as beta and plenty of problems are being reported with Omega.

Sounds pretty bad, I've had a pretty trouble-free experience with the official 4.2.1, haven't had the warm phone issue at all recently, and battery life is on-par.

Really like the expanded notifications tray when you do 2 finger swipe, and the new lockscreen with widgets is pretty awesome, but could allow better resizing of widgets to fit more in..

I used to use WidgetLocker, but it was buggy and sometimes didnt display..

I've had a good experience with CM10.1. Running the nightly with 4.2.2 fine.

Follow the advice in this guide http://www.androidnz.net/2011/10/at-your-own-risk-how-to-backup-your.html when backing up.

Hi, I use Titanium to backup my S3 to my SD Card, but I'd love to find a way to backup my SD Card automatically when my S3 connects to my computer to charge. Any bright ideas?

not sure how titanium works , but one way to do is use app like Tasker. it has an event ,phone connected and you can automatically launch another app OR activity.

check llama also (its free but tasker is not.) Tasker currently on sale its worth every penny if you are interested.
