No, I suspect my retail box should show up tomorrow or Wednesday.

rp1790: Can any owners comment on the buttons and any difficulties with using them? Specifically am talking about the two capacitive buttons at the bottom.

Have read 2-3 people mentioning that they can be very hard to use/activate.

The new update (couple of weeks away) addresses this

They made them too soft in an effort to stop people from pressing them accidentally

freitasm: I have to say this is the first HTC Android I really liked the look of.

Yes one of the nicest looking phones I've ever seen.

NZtechfreak: Got mine today :)

Unlooked for bonus: mine is S-Off.

What is S-Off please?

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Just realised I could have googled this and have now done that.

Wow, someone actually searching their own answers up? I'm speechless :)

I should note that I got the 1.28 update on powering mine up yesterday evening, and a couple of hours later got the latest 1.29 update (with improved image quality, apparently). Very impressed by that, especially considering developer handsets typically are MUCH slower to get updates according to several trusted voices on Twitter.

My review unit arrived this morning.

If anyone wants more info/specs on it just ask.

I asked earlier up the thread, but what's your view on using the menu buttons and only having two?  Are they responsive, easy to use, awkward?

It's actually quite good. There is no menu button so it appears in a full width soft key area at the bottom of the screen as necessary. The Home button also functions as search (long press) and recent apps (double tap).

No issues with responsiveness at all. Much preferred over my GNex for ease of use.

What is your current phone and would you consider (Albeit with your limited time so far) switching to the HTC One? :)

I currently have a Galaxy Nexus.

I don't want to give too much away since I'll be doing a series of review posts, the first can be expected in the next couple of days.

I will say that the One is a very very impressive device and I don't think anyone would be disappointed by it.

very much looking forward to your review. I am in the same boat - about to transition from a GNex to the One.

Would be good if you could cover day to day activities such as web browsing, video watching, texting, using navigation...

No pressure :)
