Moto G is $239 at Harvey Norman which seems to be the best price around.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

Okay that sucks, so I checked all the online websites including Harvey Norman earlier this evening and they all said $299 so I went out a bought it for $299 from 2degrees and now I see that Harvey Norman put it on special for $239 sometime after about 5.00 when I checked everyone's prices. It's annoying enough seeing it on special a week after buying, let alone a few hours after buying!

Zipdisk:
shk292: Amazon now have the blue flip covers back in stock

I just ordered my Moto G - US$230 for the 16GB model including a blue flip case and (free) delivery.  Seems like a great deal

You have to use Youshop to get from Amazon US to NZ.

No free delivery.

Amazon US have free delivery to NZ for orders of $125 or more, for some items.  There are restrictions, but both the Moto G and the flip case (when supplied by Amazon themselves) are eligible for this.

This means the 16GB model is $199 US, or about NZ$238, delivered to NZ.  And another US$30 for the case

Ordered from JBHifi with a black flip cover.

Received the package this morning. All good, but no flip cover! :(

Anyone notice the new animated boot screen yesterday.  Looks like someone at Motorola still has a sense of humor.  Wonder if it was a April 1 joke??

Harvey Norman has about the most annoying price advertising around.
If they advertise specials on TV they are quite often not showing on their website - so unless you saw the ad or went into the store you wouldnt know what they sell something for. They also seem to have this habit of 'inflating' prices just before they advertise a special - suppose it makes the special look extra good.

A case in point was/is the nexus 10 tablet - I wanted one last Xmas - not many people seem to sell them - they had it for something like $900+ !!! I gave up and bought a Sonly Xperia tablet - its ok - but since then they have advertised the Nexus tab intermittently at quite a good price for a day or 2 at a time - then it shoots back up.

That said the mrs and I have bought quite a few appliances from them over the last few years - usually find when you go into the shop they have some quite good pricing that only seems to exist in store.

Isn't that illegal under the FTA? Or is that the marking up of prices on sale day and then advertising the discount? I can't remember.

I have telecom and 2degrees sd cards in the phone. I only get both of them to work, when the data is disabled on 2 degrees. Alternatively, only 2 degrees is working. Anyone had similar experience? Any workaround?

No.  One SIM must be able to do 2G.  If you try to get the second one to do 3G the first one  will try to do 2G and if it can't will disable..  SAme it you try to puit in 2 Telecom / Skinny SIMs , only one will work at a time..
