Am planning on upgrading my old SGS to Darky's 10.2 Final - is there any disadvantage to just going with the Ficeto Ressurection ROM, and just restoring the bare necessities via TB and pushing .apk's etc?

How the F did they make Darkys so fast?

It absolutely rips 10.1 to bits, and that was fast IMO, also my battery life is the best its ever been, took it off charge at 6:45am (full) and used it listening to music for 1/2 on the way to work, text and surfed the net and its stlll on 87% now (8:18pm)

none at all as far as ive experienced, i ran plain 'resurrection' for a while before flashing the full version on - everything worked and all i did was install TB and restore all my user apps, and re-flash an appropriate modem - it was all good :)

Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005, on Telecom 4G LTE.  ROM: Stock Touchwiz, Android 4.3, XUDMJ6  MODEM: MJ4  Kernel: Stock (for now...:)

does any one know where i can download the original Telecom csc file from?
I'm wanting to upgrade to the 2.3.3 official Telecom release but have put custom roms on my phone and I'm no longer on the official csc file :-(
Have put the phone back to the Telecom 2.2 release but cant get the new upgrade due to not having the right csc file on my phone.
have done a google search but not found the right file yet.

But surely the Telecom 2.2 release you flashed has the correct TNZ CSC?

To be honest, I'd steer clear of the official 2.3.3 unless you can confirm the Android O/S bug has been resolved - AFAIK, it's only been sorted in 2.3.4 to date?

was showing (kor) but have defaulted the phone and it now seems to be showing the right csc now.

Keis is not giving me a option to upgrade the phone though :-(

I am trying to upgrade my Telecom Galaxy 9000T via Kies, which says there is an upgrade available, but every time I do, Kies just crashes after I click update. Any ideas
?

I uploaded a stock telecom 2.2 nandroid backup here a while back:

http://www.multiupload.com/9BP85K7U8P

It will probably work fine, but make sure BEFORE you flash it from CWM recovery that you've taken a copy of your /efs folder and moved it off the phone onto your PC - the nandroid flash might possiblyl overwrite your IMEI with the IMEI of whoever's phone this came off (someone on Geekzone, but I can't remember who!).  It shouldn't, but always better to be safe than sorry. . . .

I finally managed to get the official update through Kies, now running 2.3.3. Problem now since the update is the keyboard isn't working in any application.

Do you have the option to select Swype or the standard Samsung keyboard under input method?
