lokhor: That sounds like a ridiculously low score for Nenamark, I usually get ~50fps on mine.

Your right, i re ran nenamark and it show best run as 48.1fps. still got 41.9 again. im not too worried, looks smooth. but bigger better faster more.....

The phone has gotten better over the last few days with a couple of power off and ons.
No noticable lag anymore. load times for menus seem slow at times but overall 500% better than it was straight after flash. No more errors, cell data is better, but i think there is room for improvement. Does anyone know if a good network benchmarking app?
Im still amazed it remembered all my wifi key, etc. lost my market list though.
i could restore a back it up with titanium but i would have to find a root app first.

thanks

For some reason I don't like Swype. I seem to type way better by tapping. Use the Gingerbread Keyboard and it's pretty awesome. I can type way faster than I can Swype with better accuracy.

"No firmware info retrieved for given data."

Found GT-I9000HKTTNZ under GT-I9000T, flashed that but now says something about failing to mount /dbdata

Came from Darky 10.2.

Not sure whats going on, guess I'll go back to Darkys for now.

I've also just downloaded GT-I9000HKTTNZ, which appears to contain the files as per  nzgman's post.  However, I have ended up with a file GT-I9000T_TNZ_1_20110714114531.zip.enc2 (about 178MB).  Why has it ended up with a .enc2 extension?  It does not therefore present as a valid zip file and I cannot unpack it.  Am I missing something?

I've had another go and it has now downloaded with just the .zip extension and unpacks fine - no idea what the .enc2 stuff was.  Didn't appear to be a partial download as it was exactly the same size as my latest attempt!  Anyway, has downloaded now so will give flashing it a try in the next few days.

Question: haven't used Odin before and it appears i should be using v1.7 for Galaxy S?  Any suggestions as to best place to download?

What were you using before you flashed to this?

Also edge, you need that .dll file to decrypt it the file. if you have kies installed itll ask to copy it to same directory.

I had put it to the unofficial telecom 2.2 rom as was selling it, then the 2.3.3 official rom came out but Kies would not upgrade it so that is why I needed to upgrade it with this method.
