Nah. Wouldn't use an S View cover if you're concerned about protection. The Spigen Slim Armour View cases are a better choice for that. They make one for the S4, too. I have the non-View Slim Armour in delightfully on-brand red, and wholeheartedly recommend it.

Im looking for a new case for my s4 at the moment, I was thinking the slim armour, any others you can recommend? Probably non flip

Some of the Seidio cases well worth a look too, I have the Seidio Surface which offers full protection and has a kickstand to boot. Relatively slimmer profile than some of the others offering full edge protection.

Is this a sign of Vodafone testing or possibly supporting VoLTE very soon?

Spigen's Neo Hybrid is worth a look, and as NZtechfreak says, his Seidio Surface with kickstand is very cool.

Also hear good things about the Supcase Unicorn Beetle range.

Sorry, should have mentioned my wife's N3 was sourced from Expansys in HK 16GB N9005.

I will see if I can post a screen shot.

I tried to click on the VoLTE and it tells me the software version on the phone does not support the feature and direct me to Samsung customer support.

Only had the case a couple of days, but whenever I make a call, or answer one, there is a very loud electronic buzzing coming from the ear piece.

This is with the S View attached.

Any ideas?

This is what I'm using and I like it. Does add to the size of course, but with such a big phone anyway, I don't care about adding a few mm, for the sake of good protection.

I have one, they're knockoffs. Pretty nice knockoffs all the same, but as the UAG site says, if the price seems too good to be true, it probably is.

has the notification bar at the top turned all white after kitkat update.

its a bit annoying cuz battery which used to be green now white, the wifi signal orange green now white

not happy :( with kitkat

any way to change with a app of some sort?

yes its all white.. if you are rooted then flash a theme or use xposed modules to change it

Mine has slightly dodgy fit & finish, with a few bits of flash plastic, more sprue/mould marks than expected, and the plastic is generally of a lower quality than the genuine UAG cases I've handled in the past. The seller's feedback indicates they sell counterfeit Otterbox cases as well. That said, it's still a nice industrial design (Although my girlfriend strongly disagrees), came with all the goodies an official case would have, was delivered promptly, and I am happily using it.

Would recommend them at $29.00, even, just so long as folks know what to expect! :)

Install Echo ROM. Full customization of the notification bar and a whole boat load of battery and signal widgets.

Im currently state side amd just picked up an UAG case, its very good for what I paid...$25 USD. Highly recommend it to anyone, definately buy an authentic one though
