New Zealand Post is refusing packages containing the Galaxy Note 7

How apt. There is an old english saying to make people or companies do something faster - "I'd love to put a bomb under ............"

NZ Post are one kiwi company that comes to mind

I see Qantas have joined the US authorities in placing a complete ban on the Note 7. Would suck to be overseas with one of these grenades (oops I mean phones) and no way to get it home for the recall.

Getting the run around so far from supero.co.nz in regards to the getting the refund for Note 7. The replacement after first recall never came and now they are "talking with management next week over what steps to take".

The 'steps' are;

1. Return phone
2. Get refund.

Definitely push them, that's a pretty poor response honestly.

AirNZ has followed suit. It's an FAA requirement, so expect it to be a blanket ban on every flight.

You will find that 98% of the population either compliant with authorities, just requesting that people don't bring them will ensure they don't get onboard. Also, any intelligent person who understands physics won't bring one on a plane, because being at 33,000 feet at 900KM/h in a metal tube and having a fire on board is not conducive to living to a ripe old age. Between the 2 groups and the fact a infinitesimally small number of devices catch fire/explode, the number that are on a plane, they are probably covered.

You'd probably be talking similar % compared to the number of mechanical failures that cause planes to fall out of the sky.

Supero left me high and dry when my LG G4 perished from the dreaded bootloop one month out of warranty. They sent me to LG NZ who of course also wouldn't have anything to do with the device as it wasn't from NZ.

Do you happen to have their physical address or PO Box details? I have disputed the transaction with Paypal since it's within the 120 day period.

If they dont have a physical store in NZ where we can go and get things done, I would suggest keeping away from these online only retailers even if they are the cheapest out there

The extra $100 sometimes pays off in customer service if we need it
