My alert slider definitely has a bit of play in it, more than in the OnePlus 5 for sure. I find it more "clicky" and easier to use than the 5 though so I don't mind the looseness.

Mine has a bit of play too. Not a biggie for me. The enclosed case is ok. I've purchased a slim one from AliExpress with built in metal plate to use in my magnetic car holder.

I've got the opposite problem, mines so stiff I can barely switch it one - handed!

Same issue here. Also, since I hold my phone left-handed and the slider is up high and hard to reach, it's virtually useless for me. Unfortunately the OP6 still has the slider "bug", ie, you can't change the volume with the volume key as the slider overrides it. :( Can't wait for LineageOS to go stable so I can get rid of that annoyance.

If anyone wants the Silk White variant, you can get it here for the same price as Noel Leeming are charging for the 64Gb variant, AND you get to keep the dash charger. They also have the Midnight and Mirror variants at the same price.

I've got a mate that lives in America and is coming to NZ and was going to get her to bring a OnePlus 6 with her so I save a bit of money. I've been looking at a few sights to see what version will work with 4G on Vodafone over here. I can't seem to figure it out for example one sight said one type of A6000 would work in nz but then an other type wouldn't. Would anyone be able to clear this up? Would buying directly from one plus in America mean I can get the right version so 4G will work in nz?

I purchased the Nillkin Frosted Shield Hard Back Cover Case off AliExpress for $10, prefer a minimal case so as not to ruin the already nice aesthetics of the handset. I used the same case on my OnePlus 3T and it survived a drop to the corner. I also don't use screen covers and the Gorilla Glass holds up fine, after over a years use I might have a small nick or two.

Just got this case too in the mail, its a solid choice. Bottom and top front edge is slightly exposed and could under the wrong situation cause the screen to break but i think that is a slim chance. The case works great when using the gesture only settings for home buttons. The free case that came the phone was a bit rubbish for this. Thanks for the recommendation too. Took about 9 days to get here

Ive always found nillkin a solid choice and have used on most of my phones. Normally a good tight slim fit

I bought mine from the US and it works fine here in NZ. Didn't have to change anything out of the box, getting LTE ("4G+") here in Wellington. All models of the OP6 have all the bands needed for NZ so it shouldn't be an issue regardless.

The charging speed is amazing - faster than anything I've used before and has seriously changed my charging habits. 30min and its over 50% means I charge when I feel like it now.

Would definitely recommend it guys.

You need to read up about super VOOC (the next release of the hardware). Current DASH/VOOC does 5w @ 4a (total 20) now super is doing 10w @ 4a.

I would expect to see this in the 6t and 7

Are people having battery issues with this 5.1.8 Oxygen update as reported?

Yeah, I don't think the battery life is as good - idle in particular. I still get an easy 6h of SOT.

No battery drain issues here usually end up with 50% at the end of the day sometimes it will hit 10% at the end of the day if I am using it alot. Its always going to depend on how much CPU/GPU your using and I do have face unlock disabled(You should anyway as it is not really secure) which is where a lot of people say cause mega drain on the battery or playing PUBG.

Only real issue I am having an issue with the Fingerprint sensor at the moment where it will error on my fingerprint after a few days but after a reboot has no issues when I present the same part of my fingerprint.

Parallel imported must have changed their pickup point for them as mine came with a UK Plug which I do think is a better safer plug even with an adapter unlike the US plugs.

Ahh actually I think you're right It was a UK plug not US.
