First time rooter here so forgive me if this is an obvious question ;)

Ive followed the instructions on http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com to the letter and am at the point where Ive selected wipe data/factory reset in the clockworkmod recovery but its been sat here with the hat on the orange arrow for fifteen minutes now....is that normal ?

Ive searched the web and not founf anything so Im assuming its frozen at this point and I need to start again.

Any suggestions on how long this should take ?
