Has anyone encountered this issue before? The funny thing is as soon as I ring 777/707 I get a flood of voicemails/texts. Is this something to do with the Aerial? I've called VF and they told me to take the Battery out/Sim out..

Thanks.

Taking the battery and SIM out you have even less chance of getting incoming SMS and Calls :P

Does the same issue happen with SIM in another handset? FYI it will not be a SIM fault

That's what the top folks @ VF recommend ha ha.

Does it happen in all locations or just one location?

Just in Avondale..was working in G.I. Looks like its a problem with VF as I just checked it with my mate.

Yeah, looks like its a problem with VF and not with the phone! Because it works OK when its in GSM mode.

I can confirm known issue on Avondale 3G site at the moment

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Ha Ha apparently that is to 'reset' the phone and you have to leave it out for a 1min and time it ;)

A basic restart of the handset is fine

True that, I tried restarting earlier but no go. Maybe you buzz me when it's sorted in Avondale.

antaeusa issue is now resolved

If handset is locked to 2G / GSM you can now switch it back to Dual mode 2G / 3G

John :)
