Need a new phone for the parents. Missed out on the $122 HN deal for last years model so I think I'll wait for this.

Anyone else planning on getting this? It seems really good value for money now since they've now put in a snapdragon 400 and a front facing camera. It's basically the Moto G with a slightly lower screen resolution and size.

Anyone know anything about the nz release date/ pricing yet?

I was having a look for this just now, doesn't look like any NZ retailers have it. Some still selling the old model.

I imported the 4G version from Amazon UK ($206 shipped from the UK) but it only worked on 2degrees and vodafone (sold for $3 profit). Imported the 3G version from Amazon US for $203 + $44 shipping via youshop (not doing that again). Very happy with it.

If you are ok with Vodafone you may want to check out the Smart Prime for $149 - its a little better than Moto G and includes 4G capability
