This offer would suck if it was their only pre-launch offer, compared to previous years.
As per T&C's on Samsung website, this is the free gift:

Been a loyal Sammy user for over a decade now.
They've unfortunately become Apple.
Keeping battery size to 5000mah for the Ultra phone in 2026 is criminal.
OPPO Find X9 Pro has 7500mah.
I'm hoping Sammy surprises this year. I'm not holding my breath.
Here I was looking at the S25 to replace my Flip4. I guess it goes without saying but boy oh boy, phones are up there now!

Yeah me too. Was actually thinking of upgrading from S25 Ultra because last year it was only a few hundred to trade-in from the previous gen Ultra, on EPP. But it doesn't seem like the specs and the launch offers would even make it worth it.

A few days ago Marques Brownlee posted an interesting theory about why: https://youtu.be/zPAY2VxfFBk
I still think they should just embrace the new battery tech, but the running theme of phones from Apple, Samsung and Google the last few years has certainly been play it safe, in every way possible.

Another year of sigh from Samsung!
Wish they put the 64mp camera of the s21 back in. While my s25 is much much faster, it's a far worse camera overall and is super slippery in your hand or pocket - have droped it a few times when I had previously gone 10+ years not using a screen protector
It's a bold move to bring in so few changes when the challengers are circling.
The same cameras again from the S22... Actually ridiculous.
Given we are so close to launch/official announcement, the specs and features rumors online at this stage are pretty much confirmed.
The question is: how many here in GZ will be shelling out for the S26 series this year?
I for one will not be.
Not me. And the way things are going, when I do upgrade from the S25 Ultra, I just might be moving from Samsung.
People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.
Keep calm, and carry on posting.

Do the previous models subsequently drop in price when the new one is announced? As mentioned earlier, I've been looking to move on from my Flip. I liked the concept, just not the execution so wanted a more traditional phone. Sounds like there's not a huge jump from the 25 to 26.
There hasn't been a significant difference since the S23.
I will be going for the S26 as my current S23FE is really starting to feel old and slow.

My son is waiting to see what deals are happening, he bought his S25+ for a $1 so the $800 trade in he has been offered puts him well ahead but he is not keen on the exynos cpu, he wants the latest Snapdragon like his S25+ had
Common sense is not as common as you think.
Only thing that looks interesting is the S26 Ultra's privacy display feature. Not that useful though.
S25U owner here. If i can upgrade cheap through a discount and trade in like people did last year at the S25U launch, then maybe if there are enough improvements.
Otherwise the S25U will serve me fine for a few more.
