No idea. I use a Huawei E585 MiFi (bought it on trademe) on 2degrees.

Compatible how? To tether to over wifi? Or to physically connect via USB cable?

To physically plug in and access the internet on the tablet via 3G.

Though I'm thinking it might be better to get one of those personal hotspots, just got to read up on who is best these days.

I doubt that would be possible via. USB.

Root + Kernel modules. Otherwise it won't work, as it has no driver.
