Baldrick,

 

I can't help you with your present situation, but if you record any programs be aware that some of them are not recorded to the end.

 

We have had three recorded programs that we were unable to see the ending, a bit annoying if it is a crime program.

Has anyone received their preorder for the SKY Pod yet or is it still in customer trial? If so is there a date when they will be shipped?

I ran them again to follow up today, I was told that all VFTV users that pre-ordered in Oct/Nov, devices are with the couriers for delivery now.

 

Although I was also told a few weeks ago that they would be shipped on the 28th Feb so not sure how much I believe the above.

 

 

 

The communication or complete lack of with this has been ridiculous to say the least.

The last email said they should arrive before the end of the end of the month, but I’m still waiting for despatch notification. The email also said we would get tracking details on despatch.

 

I’d also be interested to hear if anyone (apart from people on the trial) have got one yet. Time is running very short (again).

I got an email on 21/02 saying box on its way and to remove credit card from VTV portal. It arrived on 23/02. Install was more painful than I thought it should be due to activation errors. I'm not really impressed and prefer the Voda box.





Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

That’s exactly what I was beginning to suspect. I’ve heard many people talking about the new box, but so far, I haven’t heard anyone say they have a Sky Pod, not even for a trial. Is it just not ready?

Rang Sky yesterday to order the Sky Box, was told to register my interest online and we will get back to you, I said there are people out there already have the Sky Box and was then told NO only Sky Staff have them at this stage 

 

Been a customer since day one 29 - 30 years

We estimate Sky Pods will be couriered to you in November, we’ll let you know an estimated shipping date nearer the time."

November???!!!

 

 

That’s the same email I got when I pre-ordered last December.

 

I think November 2022 was the original planned delivery date, and they haven’t updated the emails even after multiple delays. The communication has been a bit sloppy.

I’m not on the trial and I received my box on Friday.

I didn’t get an email with a tracking number it just showed up.

Today I have started having some issues with recording, I am guessing that is why we got the recording credit.

Some of my series links disappeared and it won’t let me add them back in.
