I'm sorry, I thought word salad wasn't in vogue in a tech forum for competent adults ?

What's not in vogue is being unnecessarily dismissive of someone with an overweening sense of sneering superiority.

New Sky Box. Almost every recorded program has a freeze somewhere in it. I have to FF to get past it. Does anyone else have this issue?

Reminders: are there reminders for programs that are starting soon, similar to the old MySky?

Jiriteach: Anyone know how to provide feedback to Sky on the UX? That doesn’t involve dealing with the call centre? They need to add an app shortcut for TV as opposed to having to browse to it which is painfully slow - yes there is a button on the remove but as an additional option.

Yes. They take suggestions at help@sky.co.nz.

You can get to the TV directly from the left navigation on the hub, or even just use the TV guide for the current time.

Yup - requires multiple button clicks tho!

I press the button directly below the power button... takes me to the last channel watched in one click.

For me (Sky Pod) it's a single click on the BACK button. It's tempting to do two clicks because it takes a second or two.

I would suggest you obviously don't understand the definition of the word to provide the context you think you did.

However, I accept that not everyone would be capable of studying a few languages at university, so perhaps you have a typical monolingual issue with vocabulary ?

Regardless, in the context of computers and internet devices; "rebranding" refers to rebadging the hardware, firmware, and default apps on a computer or device from the default at the OEM level.

Or to continue your example, the original Tesla roadsters were rebranded Renault chassis cars with batteries and electric motors.

I think the point of the post might have been missed . . .

But thank you for the correction anyway 😉

Every time I open an app it kills itself and then reboots! This is so annoying and happens every time after an app is opened for the first time. It also tells me an update is available and then when I go into the software update settings it says up to date.

Ready to send the box back!

Any issues with internet access on the box? I have several new boxes and never seen that.

This means, you have to activate your new sky box by connecting to the internet either by wifi or ethernet,

then when that is done, you need to activate your new sky box with the QR code on your phone, or enter the passcode online.

That then cancels your old sky box via your account, or you arrange to setup as multiroom before that.
