For all its faults and my negative feedback earlier, $365 is a reasonable price to pay for what you get. I can't bring myself to pay full price for it.

I reluctantly agree that $365 for the year is the best deal to go to for all round sports coverage. I have looked at a lot of alternatives using VPNs and IPTV. Overseas offerings from the likes of Now TV Ireland look good, have most of the content but lack good options for on demand - and cost more. IPTV struggles with on demand generally. The on demand part is a big deal for NZ customers interested in sport happening in Europe and North America.

I just wish there was an effective way we could tell Sky that I renew my subscription very reluctantly. I would pay more for things like 4k, ability to go back more than 6 hours on the planner, better framerates etc. But the bozos in the boardroom at Sky will just see the subscriptions coming in and think all is well. I guess my small crumb of comfort is paying less by renewing at this time of year.

Grrr.
