I've just installed the app on my tablet.

Launched it. Got the app and the "Touch to cast videos to your TV" overlay. I touched it, so now I'm casting to my Chromecast. It gives me the "LIGHTBOX ready to cast" screen.

Problem is - I can't close the overlay. If I press the X - I get the search button or the "Stop casting" button, as part of the same "Touch to cast" overlay. I can't actually use the app itself - the overlay is preventing me from pushing any of the app content.

Does this make sense?

How do I close this damn "Touch to cast" overlay?

Kookoo: Yes, except that I couldn't do anything "in the app". None of its functionality was clickable while the overlay was on. Anyway, I restarted the app - that solved the problem. Probably some weird post-install glitch.

Hey @Kookoo

I know this reply is long past when you were having the issue, but just for info we resolved the issue you described: it was relating to a faulty 'overlay' for Chromecast users. It only shows the first time you cast (hence you never saw it again after quitting & restarting the app).

This has been fixed in the latest release. :)
