I have used the Tivo for a while now while I was with Telecom.  Sadly after the quake I had to move and the area I have built in does not have Telecom..bummer...However I had to go with Telstra.

They told me Tivo will not work with their cable and therefore had to use freeview with the T box.  I am not really enjoying it. So I wonder are they correct in that Tivo will not work with them?
