I have a video in MP4 format that I want to play vias a USB stick on a old TV.

The video will not play at present.

The TV is a Toshibas 32AV800AZ

http://www.mytoshiba.co.nz/products/televisions/lcd-tv/av800az/32av800az/specifications

Basically I want to convert the video I have so it plays on this TV.

I am using this video at a 21st party were i have limited options.

Any help appreciated.

shk292:

The page you linked to shows that the TV needs a .mkv file

A tool such as Format Factory should be able to convert the mp4 to mkv

Yip, the Manual says it will only play H264 (HD) files from either a AVI or MKV container,  (it will play MP4s but only with  MPEG2 video)

Handbrake will also convert the file,

Just make sure the stick is regular FAT32 and it should all go swimmingly...
