I have one

Its OK for a check/inspection the solder side of a PCB, although I only used it once. I just use various magnifying glasses or a cheap loupe type device

I cant imagine you would be able to use it for soldering, get a magnifying glass on a stand for that .

I have also used the magnifiers that are sort of eyeglass type & sit on your head .
That worked really well for soldering small objects & tiny wires & unlike the other cheapies it didnt get in the way.

And with all these cheapies, the claimed magnification is total BS .
