Hi I have a white Smeg in-wall oven (I think installed in the 90s).

It has two physical dials/knobs on either side and a digital display (the time) in the middle and some tiny push buttons below this small display.

We went on holiday and upon return the display was blank and the oven doesn't work. The light in the oven doesn't come on. Here are my findings

- the mainboard fuse is not tripped
- switching the wall switch ON, the oven makes an audible CLICK sound
- the oven light doesn't come on (i presume that means it is unlikely to be blown elements?)

question is - is it worth fixing - eg a fuse inside the oven
or time for a new kitchen?

Thanks for any assistance

Maybe an appliance repair specialist rather than a general electrician. It may be a common fault that you'll be paying your sparky to track down.
