Hey guys,

I know there has been a few threads about Beds here before but couldn't find what I was after.

I'll be in the market for a new bed very soon. I'll need a mattress and either a base or a frame with a preference for frame. (we store some crap under the bed)

Size would be either Queen or King (depending on extra cost)

Budget: I'd like to get away with say $2k but over all, I want to ensure I am not over paying for a bed.

I want a firm mattress that will last 8+ years. Will be used by my wife and I (average wsize/weight for both of us). I live in Auckland

Any hints about where I should be looking and how I should go about this?
