In December 2014 we had a Mitsubishi 3.5KW Heat Pump installed and a few weeks ago it started malfunctioning.

We called BDT (Local contact for Mitsubishi) who gave us a service companies number.

They have quoted $900 for a new PCB and Labour, Truck Roll, Shipping etc.

Is it reasonable to expect Mitsubishi to come to the party here under the CGA?

Cheers

Handle9:

You can argue whatever you like. You need to demonstrate how it is not reasonably durable.

They agreed it wasn't reasonable for that part to last 6.5 years and have agreed to replace it under warranty.

We have agreed to cover labour.

They were very good about the whole thing, I'd buy another Heat Pump from them without hestitation.
