Hi all. I can't seem to find an answer to something I thought would be easy to find. I'm doing all the painting of our extension and I wanted to know if I need to prime the punched nailheads before filling? I'm talking about the internal ones around architraves and jambs etc. I don't recall doing it in the past for small patch jobs but I get the feeling I really should have.

Thanks

Nah wouldn't bother, I've done plenty without and they've all stood the test of time

No. Unless it's really damp - but in that case you will have worse problems ; ).

If it was in a bathroom then I might.
