For starters they didn't offer a refund, just to cancel subscription.

your post said:

".however just spoke to Customer Services (had to refer me to NZ manager who called me on his mobile) who confirmed that this is incorrect and the 24 hour rule applies to non on demand games. Apologised and said i could have are fund if I was un satisfied."

so did they offer you a refund or not?

(BTW, I find it amusing that your main complaint is them changing their story on something.... and you go and do the exact same thing )

Apols, wrong terminology. Offered to cancel if I wanted.

Difference is i am paying them money under contract for a specified service..as opposed to posting a comment on a forum after a few beers...it's a big difference.

aboylikedave: FAQ says

Do I have to watch all the matches live or can I record them and watch at my leisure?

We've confirmed with the league that every single match can be watched once at any time - live or otherwise. On top of this we're offering 250 matches for multiple views whenever you want. We'll try to ensure for starters they are all the 3am kick-off matches, with the remainder being as many of the midnight games as we can squeeze in.

....however just spoke to Customer Services (had to refer me to NZ manager who called me on his mobile) who confirmed that this is incorrect and the 24 hour rule applies to non on demand games. Apologised and said i could have are fund if I was un satisfied.

Can't decide if the 24 hour rule is a deal breaker as after 24 hours I would likely know the result anyway.

What I will do is email the Herald and FairGo and I encourage others to. It's cowboy ish and amateurish. The fact this guy had to call me on his mobile and got a bit frustrated that I was bothering him at the weekend says it all. The weekend is their core business time.

doubt fair go will be at all interested considering they have offered you a full refund.  Fair Go like exmplaes where the companies have refused to put things right.

Perhaps the information given to them at the time by the EPL was incorrect. What more can they do but offer you a full refund?

I had the same thought that the Premier League changed the package. After giving it some thought, I can't see it though. Colluseum paid many millions of $ to broadcast games and I can't believe that what they show and how long they could show it for wouldn't be crystal clear in the contract.

Just had an interesting chat with the customer service rep re: the clipped highlights and condensed games. He said that they are still working on the clipped highlights as a feature and there is currently no timeframe for it. as for the condensed games he said there won't be any. when I said that it says in the T&C's that there would be he said that I could get a full refund. They must of known for a while that there won't be any condensed games, so why is it still in the T&C's? seems a bit like bait advertising, opinions?

It certainly makes them look unprofessional at best. They seem to be very bad at updating those pages, the FAQ page also still says that the apps haven't been released yet and that every game can be watched once at any time, which does not seem to be true at all.

I guess they think this is their 'out clause': "You agree that we are not obliged to provide you with any specific content under this Agreement."

But as far as I can tell, that's to protect them against complaints that highlights of specific games aren't shown or something like that, I certainly don't think it excuses them from providing an entire category of content that their T&C's say they will provide. It could quite easily be interpreted as 'bait advertising' and get them into a fair bit of trouble. I also would've thought they could think of a better response than offering to cancel your subscription! That just seems a tad petty.

Take a copy / image of the T&Cs so they don't pull a sneaky on you.... Assuming you're wanting a refund / take to the media.

The email comms have been very casual and frequent. Hopefully it only gets better....

Had a great night of viewing via the iPhone and airplay to my AppleTV onto the big screen. Watched the full man City v Hull game and then fell asleep watching West Ham. No offense to Hammer supporters by the way - I was just tired.

So I went to bed around 6:00am and was awoken by the kids with a cooked breakfast around 10:00ish. (It's father's day here). Then I watched the West Ham game again on my iPad from the comfort of my bed. Arose at 12:00 and after a quick shower, walk the dog, lunch etc I'm about to sit down and watch another game. This time I'll have to use the 2nd TV (40") in the kids rumpus room as they're watching the Disney channel on the big screen. I wondered when I would find my 2nd Apple TV useful.

Overall I'm loving the freedom of being able to watch the game anywhere I choose in the confines of my own home. Something in the past I would have had to fight over.

Two questions for you.

1) in the shower, did you wash behind your ears?

2) you mentioned lunch, what did you have and did it fill you up?

Just trying to get a more detailed overview.
