I'm also in the Phillipines. Was Argentina but then they stopped accepting foreign Visa cards, was in Turkey for a while but that stopped and now Philippines.

YouTube just expelled me from Pakistan. I'll miss the weather 😅

Not yet expelled from the Philippines but I'm sure its just around the corner. I'm not looking forward to it, especially with the Olympics ending. YouTube is a big part of my entertainment. I'm not sure I can stomach the local pricing, nor the adds so it might just be going cold turkey.

Yes, I've been given my eviction notice from Turkey. The local pricing for the family plan is currently not in the budget so I guess it'll be less youtube, and more ads for us. Be good if they had a tier where you don't need the music etc, and just wanted no ads.

Mine is to roll over today, so hopefully I can remain in Turkey xD

I think if you sign-up with Apple ID in-app purchases they don't have a way to really be able to tell.

I've just been billed from the Philippines, but I understand doesn't mean much. They don't wait until your next billing period to send the eviction notice.

The irony of this to me is that I'd be happy to sign up with my GSuite account in NZ but they wont let me. And I'm too lazy to set up a separate GMail account to do it (I'd actually want to do a family sub so have 4 accounts to set up).

Evicted from Turkey today, was billed 3 days ago so have a month remaining to sort out what I’ll do. Premium family at $40 NZ is a stretch.

Did you just change your locale using a VPN or do you have a turkish address set in your google payments account?

I used a VPN during the sign up process, it’s been going fine for many years.

It's telling me the price is $30 per month for family premium. Which is still too much for me. Seems like a steep price for no ads and the ability to download. I'm not interested in the music.
