Why can't you configure the router?
I have netflix, unblock-us, vodafone VDSL, roku3 and HG659. It works (although only for USA netflix).
Definitely working much more smoothly post proxy change (VF cable, Getflix DNS and Apple TV). No drops to SD or any buffering over the long weekend. Thank you VF.

I have netflix, unblock-us, vodafone VDSL, roku3 and HG659. It works (although only for USA netflix).
Static routing cant be configured on the HG659 as far as we have seen.

There is a place to enter static routes... but yeah they didn't seem to work. Instead of static routes I blocked 8.8.8.8 in the parental controls. Also I think the unblock-us DNS settings have to be entered in the "internet/internet settings" section instead of the "home network" section.

HAH! GENIUS! So i suppose if that fails the Roku will default to the routers one!!!

Hi there. You just need to add 8.8.8.8 to the parental controls. Don't try a static route, that seems to make weird stuff happen on the router.

When I tried all apple devices could connect to the wifi but couldn't use it. There is something particularly odd about the HG659 OS.

There are definitely a few bugs identified with Ipads causing issues.

Have a family member who lives in Tauranga and is a Trust Power customer.....any one know of Trust Power, if you are a customer has it been resolved?....from what I know its not...we use Unblock-US as our DNS service provider and below is what they have responded with.
The error we are getting has a message number of N8210....although its seems intermittent if we can or can't open a movie and get this error straight away
We have customers with Trust Power who still have this issue as well, so you are not alone!

Don't have 3850/4300 listed anymore and the box looks different than it did last night. Highest option I have is 3000. I've tried Chrome/FF/IE but can't get the older menu to come up. Smooth as silk at 3000 though.
Hi all I did the 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 in parental controls and it has worked for the Roku 3.
