So, if Sky have the coverage from MUTV, do they therefore follow when MUTV can show the games in the UK?...

From manutd.com - For Premier League games, MUTV can show it from…
Mid-week... Midnight that night
Saturday... 6pm on a Sunday
Sunday... Midnight that night

So a UK Saturday game, would not be shown in NZ until Monday morning? a UK Sunday game until midday Monday, and a midweek game from midday that day

If this is correct, then would any real fan be that happy with that (I guess it depends how long you can go without knowing the score)? Not that I care for these teams, unless the Swans are playing them – but I’d have watched it on PLP first thing, or live anyway

I have wondered that myself, SwansNZ. in fact, I posted it several pages back.

The info from MUTV is contradicted by Sky's own release that stated the games would be available from 1p.m Sunday. Arguably, any time after 1p.m still qualifies...

I hope not!! Hopefully, we'll find out soon when they update the planner.

The original Sky announcement of the first 3 teams mentioned something about the games being provided in an "international programming block" so it may not be the same rules as for the UK.

For anyone who's interested, I have just been informed that I won the Telecom draw for the free league pass.

Well I didn't win.

But if you win and you've already paid - do they send you your subscription fee back?

They are going to draw the remaining 500 lucky people in the next few days.

They sent us a promo code and told us to ring the plp guy to arrange a refund. And the guy at plp said the money will be refunded within 72 hours

I wonder if sky will schedule the games in order of popularity eg.

UTD at 1pm
Arsenal at 3 pm
City at 5 pm
And Spurs on Wednesday!

If they put city on at 5pm on sunday they must have mastered time travel cause they don't play til tuesday morning.
There won't even be that many occasions when all of them will be on the same day. will be interesting how they do it when two of them play each other. if they play them at the same time, or play one and possibly get the audio from the other team so you can listen to either commentary.

Edit: just had a quick look. all 4 teams on sky play on the 14th and 28th september. but also quite a few times there is 3 of them on the same day, more than i thought there would be.

Brilliant, I've won a season pass from telecom. Get in! Hadn't signed up yet either.
How do you upgrade to platinum?

is it just a code? if you just go to buy a platinum package and enter the code what happens?
otherwise ring them up or email them and explain the situation, they probably sort you out.

Apparently i'm the only one here who didn't win a free pass. PLP just keeps getting worse and worse...

I didn't win one, but then I'm not a telecom customer.

Yeah, its just a code. Good call. I can't do anything now as I'm in London until the 25th so I'm geo locked. But I'll be at the Arsenal on Saturday watching, live in HD and 3d with an overpriced pint and the familiar smell of horsesh*t and onions on Gillespie rd.
