I dunno! I dont do Android, but as Troy (Hio77) has confirmed its next week, as is iOS. I hope that generic Android TV works well
I'm not sure i confirmed next week? i confirmed a post that stated a month that's been publically shared.

Ah, my mistake, I MAY be wrong!

While not trying to defend SS, the level of glitches per feed has been very low. Ive watched F1 for years. There are inherent glitches. Take Monza and its not the only one, when cars go under bridges it stops. Many times some interviews are audio out of sync, this was on Sky. The press conferences were often out of sync.
Point is, yes some glitches can be SS, but some are the feed
The issue is not really that there are glitches (although better if there weren't), we all know that happens from time to time with live programming. Please note I am not referring to the coverage issues from the circuit (signal loss for onboards etc), I mean errors in the programme stream. The issue is that the SS platform doesn't cope very well when they do occur. The streams tend to break and so does the process used to create VOD. Commercially spark could obtain a clean copy of programming to stand up, but by and large, they don't (they are the rights holder after all). The second issue is that they seem to occur at least once in every race weekend, so there is a frequency issue. If these things happen in the RWC then I can see the reaction will be a lot more extreme.
I'm at work on a PC just now so can't test this. Has anyone seen what happens with the fwd/back 10 seconds controls when you're Chromecasting? Do the tablet and CC streams sync with each other? Or is it, as I suspect ...
- if you're casting, the cast will go back 10 secs but the tablet won't have done so
- if you uncast then go back 10 (e.g. on tablet) the command will have no effect on the position of the cast stream when you cast it again
I'm starting to regret spending whatever it was on a CCu ... think I should've just paid the extra for an ATV4. But Apple annoys me.
Good to see reliable streams last night, however, it was really disappointing that SS chose not to play the practice and qualifying for F2, F3, and Supercup. Especially as Marcus Armstrong did so well in F3. I have raised the issue by SS Chat, and got a fairly lame response saying (Paraphrase) "don't have the resources, in the future may be".
If you feel the same please also contact them so they realise that we want to watch this content for which they have the exclusive rights. I Find it pretty annoying that the buy exclusive rights and then choose not to play the content.

If MA was not in or did not do well, would you still ask this? Did you ask this about F2 that has already had one outing this season?
Edit: I hear what you are saying, but I imagine most sports could also air a whole raft of minor extras, which might get a bit tiresome and not very popular. And no doubt add the sane costs as the core event.

Yes, I would feel the same way! (I have other ways to watch), As to your second point, watching or not is not compulsory this is OD, but if SS chose not to show exclusive content (they are the sole NZ rights holder) then that takes away the choice from their customers. Also, they are missing a pretty good marketing opportunity. If you don't feel the same way that's fine, but those of us that do please (nicely) let SS know.

Why didn't you raise this when the F2 race was on in Baku?

Why didn't you raise this when the F2 race was on in Baku?
I watched it elsewhere and was busy with other concerns, why does this matter?
I don't actually appreciate you trying to make this about me, you are straying off the forum topic which is SS.

I agree that they should be showing this if they have the rights.
I was watching the stream last night and the sky commentators mentioned F2 Qualifying was up next.. I would have put it on if it was available to me
tdgeek: Fair enough then. I’m surprised this was never raised in the many years Sky ran the two feeder series. Now it’s a SS fail/problem/issue
I get that its still beta and could come later, but the more content they can offer the better it looks to any consumer looking to purchase a subscription (even if its just fluff)
I look forward to the platform growing.
One thing I think they need to fix sooner than later would be on demand content needing to be skipped forward.
The end user shouldn't need to do this and the technophobes I have talked to about trying SparkSport would get very confused and wait since "Sky just works"
e.g. this comment on facebook from SparkSport "Hi Chris, the replay was available on demand inside 30 minutes after the live event had finished. If you go to our homepage you will find it under the 'recently added' tab. Please skip to 28 minutes to start the stream. Thank you. ^Tom"
