Mods, apologies if wrong forum. Wasnt sure which to use as it is for streaming movies on home theatre.

I looked at Netflix etc but I couldnt use paypal as not US paypal.   It will let me use NZ credit card.    My concern after reading the other day here about not being able to access NEtflix or Hulu etc.  
 Now I know that was short glitch but if it became permanent and you are locked out for good, how can you cancel your payment as you cant access your account to cancel your credit card payment and you would be continually charged the monthly fee for a service you cant use.
I really would like Netflix but am concerned of the possibility.  What options are ther to safeguard against this
