Hey, just wondering if anyone knew about any streaming services out there that offer sports content. With the Cricket World Cup 2015 around the corner, I would like to watch the matches that ain't here in Christchurch.
I don't want Sky any subscriptions as I have left them for some time due to their prices. It would cost me nearly $100 a month for just wanting to watch some cricket. So if anyone knows any subscription services online that offer cricket content, please send me that direction. thanks

I have a Roku 3 DishWorld app but DishWorld has app on iPad and Windows 7/8 desktop app as well. I have the HindiMega package which includes Willow Cricket in HD for free as part of the base plan and I get all the Indian, Australian, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Englans ODI and Tests. I am sure they will buy the rights for the Cricket World Cup as well.

You can buy the Sports package on it's own for $10/month but you will need to use a DNS service. I use Getflix which works with DishWorld. Unblock-US works too.

Edit - The channel is actually in HD. No kidding (3.7MB/s bitrate). Looks really good.

Hey BillGates just stumbled upon this post, sorry to interrupt OP and go a bit off topic.  Would you recommend DishWorld?  Which channels do you ge tin mega pack and any hardware required.  I wish they did like a 3 day trial or something.

I totally recommend DishWorld. Way more channels than Vision Asia. Sony, Colours, Sony Sat Max, Willow Cricket, Star Plus, Zee are all HD running at 3.6MB/s bitrate. SD channels like MTV etc run at 2MB/s. Full list of channels is below. They have a promo right now where you can get 3 months service for USD$45 for Hindi Mega package which is usually USD$45/month. I have been using it for just over 12 months on Snap UFB (100/50) and have my brother and cousin setup in their houses with Snap's VDSL service and using Getflix for DNS geo location service as they are only 1 of 3 DNS providers that support DishWorld. I also use the Roku for 3 for Netflix amongst other things. I pay USD$55/month but that includes Dishworld service running concurrently on 3 x Roku 3's at same time (USD$45/month for Hindi Mega package + USD$10 for 2 x extra streams).

If you are in Hamilton, feel free to come over and check out my setup/quality of the service.
