Geektastic: It's good that the system is slick and well resourced.

I tried to book my booster today. After 45 minutes on hold listening to asinine "here are some things you might want to know" recorded messages (including the number of doses given worldwide by the 10th March... It's now nearly December) I just gave up.

I assume you have special requirements?
I can book a booster dose appointment online via the book my vaccine website.

Otherwise I'd try being a walk-in. Can't seem them having any hassles with that.

I've seen quite a few signs in windows saying that we can do 1st and 2nds via walk up, but you need to book for a Booster.

Also looking at the booking site, only some sites are offering boosters, my nearest chemist is doing 1+2s but not boosters....

So best to get on line and book a spot...

so the areas with a large maori population who wont get vaccinated , nothing to do with cases or transmission.

Common sense is not as common as you think.

I just (15 minutes ago) walked into a local pharmacy and got jabbed for 3rd dose and asked if they could print out a certificate at the same time which was done pretty much on the spot. Now photographed onto my phone and sorted for 6 months.

I have been trying to log online via realme etc and just keep getting the we are experiencing higher volume traffic banner error.

Everyone gets the banner. But it in itself is not an error.

Logging in works fine.

I don't mind admitting I found the announcement today to be a bit emotional, even though it was expected.

When people travel from Red Zone to Orange Zone, do they follow the rules of the location or where they came from?

It was always going to be focused on the percentages. Hence the initial 90 target to reach, But since that idea was blown out of the water. Here we are

Interestingly however was spun back on them, the tighter restrictions along the lines of they are for the un-vaccinated  - 'this is what we need to do to protect you'

From memory it needs permission to allow myhealth to talk to it, done via the realme login separately.

Just ditch the idea. nothing but trouble, use sign up with email. And you'll be sorted in about 3mins.

It took 3 days for them to link me. Now it can be done in seconds.

in Practice that's impossible now,

Example, with a vax pass Hospo at Orange has no limits and no distancing, At Red its 100 ppl  @1 metre...

I don't think you will have much luck telling everyone not to sit next to you and  that the 101th person needs to leave.

Same for things like movies, no distance or caps at Orange, Red is 100ppl @1m

I can't. It won't list any of the local facilities. It only offers things 50+ km away in Wellington/Hutt instead of 15 km away in Masterton.

I guess that is true actually. Not sure how else they could do it, but I see us doing a fair amount of choosing to eat outside or get food takeaways over summer.

Cant loginto real me site either.

Get the same response after username password and phone code number.

Will try just using email as you suggest.

Tried to use the same password as my realme account and got an error "An invalid character was provided."

Just used random password generator clicked upper lower characters numbers and symbols..

Created new password and we are done.... I do wonder if my realme login failure is related to have an "An invalid character was provided."
