Seems to be European cars sold in Tauranga. There’s heaps of cars with ZAA and now ZZA.

So rather than concealing the age of the vehicle by mixing up the letters so far ZAA = 2019/20, ZZA = 2021. VW trainspotters will soon figure out the year code.

A real first world problem eh? A silly marketing gimmick by the car sales. A quick look up on car jam reveals it all.

I'm (not particularly) sorry for any offence caused but why on earth would you pay $300 for this? More money than sense.

That said, I also think $1200 on a personalised plate is a ridiculous waste of money - but at least you get something totally custom and unique that way.

I'm glad I got my personalised plate way back when they first came out and only cost a few hundred. The prices are ridiculous these days.

I remember looking at getting one many years ago and it a couple of hundred dollars, which I balked at.

$1200 seems...well...quite a bit too much.
