Weird. Do you have it joined to both your home wifi and the hotspot? Maybe if it connects to your home wifi first it won't try connect to the hotspot when you put it into Drive - if that's the case you might need to tell it to forget your home wifi connection.

It's not just EVs that are at risk of catching fire after being in a flood...

Finally vehicle assigned, able to pay and says Estimated Delivery: December 05 - December 19

9 months from the orig 4-6 months that became 5-7 months and is at 7.5 now. Better be worth the wait.

Something tells me there are a lot of people trading in their Model 3 for a Y these days. Just look at the used inventory of Model 3s at Tesla NZ now.

And they have sweetened the deal by adding Enhanced Autopilot to all the used Model 3s they are selling. Even selling a Long range with Full Self Driving.

Sorry, missed this reply. Yes but sometimes its fine others its not. This morning it stayed off, but was fine for a while. I will try using the the same SSID for my hotspot to see if that sorts it.

Enhanced AP accepted, those prices are still quite high. Not much trickle down to the used car market going on! I would be interested to know how much markup TNZ are putting on them.

@Dingbatt I bought Enhanced AP and IMHO it is worth it for longer drives. We're actually one of the cheaper places worldwide with it.

I have found smart summon useless but automatic lane change is what I bought it for.

Still cheaper than what people are selling them for on TradeMe. Tesla has kinda undercut all the cars being sold there.

Seems expensive considering you wont get the $8k bribe money on them, someone else has already claimed that. Makes me hopeful that mine will hold value for a while and I wont lose out anything on owning it.

If you factor in that these cars have Enhanced Autopilot included, the cheapest one that was on the page was around $15.7k cheaper than a new one.

Good to hear. Was thinking of purchasing as I have a long commute and the over taking is a pain. Can you set to overtake by itself without tugging the wheel or indicator?

Changing lanes to overtake will only work on divided roads (aka, motorways). It won't work on passing lanes.
