Hi. Random request for today, could somebody with access to a 1.6 litre 1998-2003 Mazda protégé (323 Astina etc.) Please measure how long the dipstick is from the collar to the low and high marks?

A friend here in Fiji has broken his and the likelihood of locating the correct one in this country are negligible. However we should be able to adapt something to work...

I believe the engine model code is zm-de
The dipstick part number is BPD3-10-450C
But my Google fu doesn't give me the length..

No, not in this instance. Size matters more than most anything else. It needs to be well "lubricated" or something may go very very badly.
