dolsen: (snip)
I rang yesterday and quoted my order number and the CSR took my CC details and reprocessed the order.

I've had no communications, my order is still 'In Process' and the last official communication I've had from TWS is that my order is cancelled.
I sent a complaint through and have heard nothing. Big black hole so far :-)

Call them if you do indeed want the watch...

My debit card has now (in the last couple of hours) been debited $130. The order is still showing In Process, but at least things appear to be moving.

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

I call them 3 hours ago and was told somebody will call me back very shortly to get my credit card details again.
Of course I haven't received any calls until now.

Also wasn't sure why they didn't take my credit card details during the call.
Guess I'll have to keep calling them until I see a new charge on my credit card.

If TWS are merely satifying the people that are calling up based on information from other sources, then thats not a resolution, they're not 'doing the right thing', they're plugging a 'noise leak'
The concept of 'fairness' doesn't stop when *I* get what *I* want.

So I'm willing to wait and see what they do.

That's your prerogative of course, and good on you for standing up for what you feel is right.  On the other hand though, if you really do want to land one of the watches at $130, like most people here, I expect your chances are better if you take the initiative and contact them to follow up.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Actually I am still laughing at your sig picture, that's classic.
I've contacted them three times now. They've told me it was cancelled, then two hours later I got the email, then I wrote to them twice with a formal complaint, then called them,  will they follow up on the complaint? will they fulfil my order because its the right thing to do?  My curioisity is greater than my desire for a heavily discounted device TBH ..  I'm happy to be the sacrificial lamb.

I had no email follow up and just called. The lady advised me that they oversubscribed the deal and I would be refunded soon. I asked if a watch was a possibility and she said no.

I then quoted the facebook message and it all changed - she took my details and said it would be processed.

Not good - imagine they are STILL trying to minimize the number they have to fulfill.

I think people just need to be a bit patient. The said publicly that if you ordered a watch you would get a watch. Sometimes things take time, and we all know how call centre staff are often the last to know what's going on.

..ah sorry.  You probably explained all that and I was too lazy to read back through the thread.

I gave them another call just now and after checking my account was told that I wasn't refunded and that they will make a re-order today.
I should receive an email when the re-order is created and that I will be receiving the item in 2 days.

On a side note, my raspberry pi 2 arrived today.  This will keep my busy upgrading my raspbmc to osmc while waiting for the watch.

Just got an email saying I will get my watch, didn't need to provide any credit card info.

We would like to apologise for the confusion our refund email may have caused you regarding your recent Order of the LG G Watch.

On Friday 13 February we advertised LG G Watch R at $130. This was an incredible low price and the watch sold out in a very short time – faster than our system could keep up with counting the stock down.   Fortunately, we have been able to secure a further limited supply from our supplier in order to honour our advert. Due to the limited supply available to us, we will be supplying in strict accordance to 1 unit per customer to ensure that we supply at least 1 to every customer who purchased in good faith.

The new order reference number is xxxx . Please expect delivery within the next few days.

Credit where it's due, even it it was simply caving under consumer pressure, but the whole process has been very farcical. Would it not have just been easier to reissue everyone who had already been refunded with an unpaid order/invoice and linking to the website to make payment after logging in, and just reusing the existing orders that had not been refunded... ? Maybe they don't have that capacity, or the ability to create custom invoices, but it would have made the whole process a hell of alot easier. On the other hand, they could have simply made sure their web store was working correctly.
