actioncam: Will these work on Vogager fibre? I think I can ask for vlan tagging to be turned off
why not plug it into your router and turn the wifi off on the router?
My "master" google wifi is plugged directly into the router, then i just plugged the other 2 around the house.

@Huskie it'll be a downgrade for you. Just grab another access point.
Hmm, alright I'll just pick up another AP. At my old place, we had 2 AP's and it kept switching back and forth between the two despite remaining in the same place and one network being clearly much stronger than the other in that position. Will admit I didn't bother trying to optimize it so will do that this time so they transition smoothly between each point.
thats more likely to be a client issue.
Are these essentially just repeaters? Or is there something more to them that makes them a product?
They have multiple radios in them so the backhaul to the main one doesn't share the channel with the client devices, and use something smarter than repeating so the mac addresses are consistent no matter where you connect to. Repeaters spoof the mac address and can give significant issues with broadcast frames and lose thruput when you roam between them as arp tables have to time out.
