I've had my eyes on this since it was announced and it's now up for pre-order on Amazon. You can get it shipped here direct for $110 USD / $145~ NZD

I'm still waiting on reviews but it has everything you might need for a cheapie

  • 1280x800 7 inch IPS display
  • Pretty much the same chipset as my Asus T100 (never had any real performance nags with it)
  • Windows 8.1 (it's just a shame the Windows store isn't anywhere close to Android/iOS)
  • One year Office 365 worth $70 on its own
  • microSD slot
More accurate specs: HP Stream 7 on HP Store

HP Stream 7 on Amazon

Biggest annoyance so far is the tablet is 1280x800.
There are quite a few windows store apps that require 1366x768.

You can't even install them.

Specifically dynamics CRM. Grrrr.
