Hi folks... On a completely unrelated topic.

Posting here instead of a dedicated thread because I want to make sure F1 enthusiasts see this.

I have one of these to giveaway (sorry, I have to review something), so reply with "Lego F1" and a short paragraph about the team you support (it doesn't have to be one in the photo).

I will select someone tomorrow afternoon. You will have the option of a Lego Williams or McLaren F1:

Lego F1

That would be McLaren for me.  Love the NZ origin connection but if I'm perfectly honest, it's probably because Mika and David were winning at the time I started watching F1 seriously myself.  F1 was free to air at that stage and Bob McMurray was on the pre show buildup and still had connections into McLaren to get the inside story insights ahead of the race too.  Was a really exciting time to watch, cars full noise, full send with refuelling allowed and the McLaren MP4/13 developed with Adrian Newey had a V10 motor to get the spine tingling too.

I'm a big McLaren supporter so good seeing the Kiwi on the McLaren Logo. Mostly love them cause it was started by a kiwi, looked like a real playboy time in the 60's. First real memories of McLaren were watching Mika Hakkinen and Michael Schumacher go head to head. (Used to think boss of McLaren Ron Dennis was real prick). Good times.

I support Ferrari because everyone supports Ferrari, but also because I really like Charles - I've been corrupted by Matthew Gallagher from the P1 Podcast. It has been great seeing the team evolve under Fred and I have high hopes for them this year which, as a Ferrari fan, I expect to be dashed...

McLaren fan from way back, also Red bull Racing as they often don't have the best car but they have had the best overall package. Williams, well a small team, but have punched well above their weight over the decades. Hope there is never a branding name change

Lego F1. Although I’m proud of the heritage of the McLaren I would love to see Williams back toward the front. Even in his latter years the share joy on Franks face when the cars went on track was something to bring a smile to my face. There is a clip of Lewis taking him for a hot lap a few years ago and you could see how much it meant to him.

Big McLaren fan. Have done my duty and passed on that love to my eldest. But we actually already *have* the McLaren set in the photo... So choosing Williams? Vamos Carlos!

I move with the driver so this year it's Red Bull for me. I love the Maclaren logo with the kiwi though.

Maclaren for me.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

Have decided not to chase the 4k F1 option at this stage.
The lack of Android support rules it out for me.

can’t believe they went live without an immediate option in place to upgrade from one tier to another though.
seemed well rushed.

Hi folks... On a completely unrelated topic.

Not entirely unrelated Mauricio ...

Lego F1

I've followed open-wheeler racing and specifically F1 since I was a boy and had the good fortune of both a motorsport-mad father and grandparents who lived in Fielding. I still remember seeing future F1 World Champion Keke Rosberg race at Manfeild in Formula Pacifics back in the day. Once my dad educated me about the origins of McLaren and the famous papaya orange and 'speedy Kiwi' emblem, it was really a bigger no-brainer than Oscar Piastri has recently had! I'm right behind Lando and of course Liam as our hometown hope. Seeing him or another New Zealander drive for McLaren one day is on my Santa list every year by default.

While I'm here, just a reminder that Louis Sharp will also be on track tomorrow in Melbourne in the F3 if you are able to tune in live, Practice in the morning and Qualifying at 4pm our time if the F1TV schedule is accurate.

i have enough trouble getting the Apple TV to stick to hd - or sometimes even just watchable content.  To bother with 4k.  I notice the Google tv version you can select a quality.

live and race replays are fine.  But some of the other docs are trash looking.  Something something something about the cdn.

Partner and I are jumping onto F1 for our first season after enjoying Drive To Survive. From a performance point of view, we've both really liked Red Bull, even more so now with Lawson driving. We are (were) also big fans of Haas, mainly due to Guenther and his character/personality! Out of Williams and McLaren, it has to be McLaren for the kiwi roots
