Yeah I wouldn't count on any of that info, including pricing to be accurate at all. Looks like someones just done a find and replace of 2025 to 2026. But yes thats when I bought mine, 2:30pm ish 7th October. I expect similar timings for next year. The dates are usually confirmed in April.

Had a great trip to the F1 in Melbourne.

We had Fangio Premium seats, which were very useful on Sat (wayyyy too hot), and Sunday (wayyy too wet and cold). It was nice being able to leave our seat for drinks/food/toilet and not have to worry about losing our spot. Well worth the $1300 each, I think.

Is that $1300 for 4 days in the same stand or just the two? I last went to Melbourne in 2013 the last year of the V8 engines and we got premium passes over 4 days with each day in a different grandstand. We were at Turn 2/3 for the main days (Sat and Sun).

100%. Its not parochial or patriotism. If Liam had the same car, and enough time in F1 and the car, and the tracks, I'd sadly kick him to touch, its hard in F1. But factually, there are many downsides facing him. Its one outlier and wet race in. he scored the same points as the legend Alonso and the top tier Carlos. He did say in a recent-ish interview that the pluses form his two brief stints easily get forgotten. His FP sessions got to 6/10. The goal is 3/10. Not too bad for the downsides

x2 agree. I can’t believe all the people piling onto Liam after just one race. So few seem to mention the fact that a mechanical problem caused him to miss 1/3 of the track time and he couldn’t do a qualifying simulation. Then the race was just about as difficult conditions you can get for F1. I wonder what all the arm chair critics will say if he manages to keep pace with Max this weekend? It seems no matter what he does he is at a hiding to nothing. I hope he can stay away from all the social media rubbish and keep focussed. Will be eagerly watching this weekend.

The role of the dice to stay out longer as a long shot didn’t pay off, and he had different wing config.
Second fastest lap of the whole race was impressive.

Watched the odd YouTube recently with Eddie and DC. No media antics, no PR, just what he thinks. In todays world, thats gold.

Watching recorded FP. Slightly annoying. One commentator says Liam is doing long runs. Later, another says Liam and Ollie lack confidence, they need a good session, Liam os well down the FP standings. Liam is 1 sec behind Max. Max last lap was 1.9 slower as he is doing long runs also. I guess this is the Danny/Yuki effect. Early, Liam and Max running different front wings, now they are the same wing.

Hard to get a feel with this bias.

Anyone else seeing the f1tv timing bar pissing around being stupid?  Most of the time in sq it was reduced to just the time left.  Or was the tower with placing, but no times or intervals.

i was on f1tv with the international feed.  Thinking I might need to have an iPad with me with the data feed running

Yes
I was watching on Sky NZ

They were obviously having "technical issues" with the software that gets timing data and integrates it with their display.
I hope they have it fixed for today

I saw a heap of complaints online.  Not sure if the f1tv feed (as opposed to international with crofty and brundle which sky also takes) was also affected.  Sometimes they have different vision.

Was watching F1 feed (Alex Jacques + Jolyon Palmer). Timing tower issues there too - disappeared entirely for large chunks of SQ2 + 3.

Yep the feed used is entirely f1s but sky sports, like f1 TV insert their own production stuff like pit walks and tech talks which is why you only get get sky uk audio feed on F1tv.

Anyone have any stats on what drivers made the most passes in the sprint race? Liam 19th to 14th was good

Lewis well done. Clear air is everything but still well done

Oscar well done too, the best car, got past Max eventually.

Lando, top car, more errors, took most of the race to get past Stroll

Other than that, seems not many genuine passes?

Minor audio blips on the Sky feed (My Sky)
