Lawson has been off the pace all weekend, he just needs to have clean race, and finish higher than his quaili position, better still if he can beat Perez. He's gonna want to forget this weekend soon enough.

Impressed with Tsunoda this weekend he has out qualified that car.

Wouldn't want to be a William mechanic how many times have rebuilt those cars. Must be getting pricey.

Yes, he has been great. But how many race weekends does that happen?

I'm hoping that Mercedes can slot P1. Something about the cold track temperature and the low grip that suits the car.

They have heat issues. Tyres degrade ,brakes overheat. Cold temps, or a wet track helps them

My picks.

George P1

Carlos P2

LeClerc P3

My preferred

Sainz P1

George P2

Max/Lando P3/4

I feel Ferrari is the better car, can win on a full race. George is on a roll, car will be suited. Max and Lando's cars aren't great here but higher fuel and better drivers will gan them places. Max ahead as he rarely makes mistakes, Lando does

I think I'm done with F1 now. Boring race, Sky Sports hype it up so so much. A new sport required for 2025!

Yep. I thought it was as boring as hell. Then thought maybe it’s just me not being enough of an aficionado to appreciate any finer points - but nah, it was not a good viewing experience. The fully closed-in, screened/shuttered course did nothing for atmosphere - were there any shots of excited fans and crowds during the race? - don’t recall seeing any.

Apart from that, congrats to Verstappen on his success and to Mercedes on their 1,2. Disappointed for Liam Lawson.

Those with SKY sports, how is the F1 coverage?

Assuming you do get coverage f the practise sessions?
Don’t get the 10min highlights of those sessions?

Black Friday deal is $365 for sky sports for a year.
Considering that for the other sports we normally stream elsewhere, and dropping F1TV…

it's ok we get all practices and so called expert opinion, nothing on what the Sky customers get in the UK though.

Common sense is not as common as you think.

I think what we get is exactly what Sky UK customers get - because it’s their feed - except we don’t get their special features like selectable driver cams and so on.

Liam's arrival seems to have motivated Yuki to greater heights

Yeah I must stay Yuki has stepped it up a lot lately.
Liam seems a bit desperate at times, trying to ensure no one wants to tangle with him isn't a bad strategy - it worked for Max.
Liam needs to avoid the hot headed vibe as that's apparently cost Yuki in the past.

Last sky question please...

Do you get to watch on demand with Sky Sport Now?
ie if I get up in the morning and want to watch a replay or highlights of the race, can I just queue that up and start watching,
OR do I need to watch when it's scheduled on their broadcast timings?

Checo is surely going to be cut. The second Red Bull seat is up for grabs

I think his poor performance probably helped Max win the drivers title this year.
Max won this year by Red Bull still being class leading for the first 1/3 of the year, and with no teammate stealing some of the top points.

If Ferrari and/or McLaren can be similar performance from the get go next year then we're finally on for a different world champion.

Red Bull will not with a constructors title alone though, and for that reason Perez has to be addressed.
That's where the sponsorship money comes from and Red Bull are nowhere near consistent enough as a team to win this without two drivers chasing the big points.

Williams living an absolute nightmare at the moment.

Still can't believe Sainz is headed there.
Sainz for Red Bull second seat makes so much sense, but apparently the dads don't get along?!
