Pumpedd:

Not sure what she has done to be called evil???...surely this isnt about an email server??

The email server thing doesn't make her evil. At best it makes her reckless or incompetent: the kind of reckless incompetence that, for you or me, would at the very least result in revocation of security clearance and the end of our career in handling classified information. And I do believe, also, prosecution, given that at least two hackers have already published some of the info, so although you cannot prove it, it is a dead certainty that it's all in the hands of Russia and/or China.

Her legal escape from that episode speaks to the heart of why a lot of people who aren't voting for her, don't like her. Even if there really was no corrupt dealing to get her off, it certainly feels like it. Why should she get away scott free? Because she's Hillary Clinton, that's why. She knows people. You don't.

Same goes for the Clinton Foundation: there is every chance that it really is completely above board, in the legal sense. But the fact that people who donate to it tend to be BFFs with the Clintons smells bad. If it were me, and I wanted to do that sort of philanthropic thing, I would put the whole thing into a blind trust relationship so that I could never know who was donating. The appearance of a conflict of interest is almost as bad as an actual conflict of interest. But as to why she's evil - well, I guess she's no more or less evil than anyone who has been in positions of influence over foreign policy for the last 25 years: she's a hawk. She has been deeply involved in the continuing American program of killing anyone they feel like by remote control, and holding indefinitely without charge, let alone trial and torturing anyone they catch. She's right in there expanding the surveillance state, and militarising the police.

She is the embodiment of the old rich white man's world.

I doubt she's going to start a full-scale conflict with Russia or China. But she's certainly got no problem stomping all over anyone that can't fight back if she thinks it might make her or her friends a dollar. That's not capital-E Evil. It's the mundane evil that the rest of us don't do anything to stop because it doesn't affect us. Until it does, and by then its too late.

America has lost its soul. Neither of these two are going to find it. Of them all this time round, only Sanders struck me as having one, but he's gone.

Hillary with 60% of the vote.

I am really hoping the ration of stupid hasn't turned too much to allow Donald to so blatantly push his racist and bigoted views and still get in.

Without invoking Godwin's law this happened a long time ago and the world needs to remember that.

I think Trump will win.

People have been writing him off at every point in the race from when he first announced running, and every time he apparently made a campaign-ending blunder he just bounced back more popular.

Don't trust the polls too much. I read a very interesting theory that a lot of people won't admit to liking Trump, so when polled about their choice they don't tell the truth.

The unfortunate thing is that his views ring true with a large proportion of America.
The population that support him are the people who are committed and passionate about their support. Like football fans you could say... Hillary doesnt have that support to the level Donald does. Donalds voters will all be out in force today and getting their vote in. Not saying Hillary's wont but Donald gets everyone exited.

Clinton, but it won't be that close. Trump has been an awesome distraction from the fact that Clinton is a woman. (Because that was the hurdle needing to be faced up until Trump entered.

Trump.    Because he crushed the others in the primaries, & people do not want to say they support Trump in case they be accused of being racist.

I will commit myself to a Hillary win as above. Small popular margin, large electoral one.

It's this. Almost guaranteed. I'll donate $100 to a charity of MF's choosing if Trump wins. Won't even be that close. Margin big enough Trump won't have grounds to dispute it.

Clinton will win.

And being Russian, I'm scared there will be another cold war.

If Clinton wins, the Cold War will continue.

If Trump wins - Nuclear Winter (Trump will randomly insult one person too many).

As an American, I just want the whole thing to be done and over with. I'm over the entire thing.

I also hope that I will wake up at some point and realise it's all been a bad nightmare.

Sadly from what I can see, and my opinion of the person I supported (Clinton) has dropped significantly, it's really a matter of how fast either candidate sends America to hell in a hand basket.

I can't imagine the speeches that will come out from Trump after mass shootings.

Without giving it a lot of thought, have no idea why such an ignorant blusterer as Trump is so popular, and hence would rather hope Clinton wins. But then what do I know - I also thought the mother country wouldn't be dumb enough to vote for Brexit...

You bet the speeches will be what his supporters want to hear. Will blame the minority and get the pitchforks out really fast.
I have never seen a time where trump has had empathy either, Has no remorse.

If Trump wins it will trigger a new financial crisis with immediate effect.
