Trump campaign doesn't like CNN poll showing Trump behind, threatens legal action if poll not removed and a public apology issued. CNN reply:

Did anything ever happen with this, or did Trump just move on to finding someone else to blame for his failings?

Maybe there was an adult in the room who looked at other polls, had heard about the "Streisand effect" and realised how counter-productive doing that was.

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/latest_polls/national_president/

I guess coming from behind as "the underdog" is the revised plan. Maintaining voter suppression could help - this time though, as I understand it the "BLM" protests in the USA have been the largest for over 1/2 century - 25-30 million people active in some way.  That doesn't bode well for Trump IMO.  Hence his repeated attacks trying to demonise the entire movement by attacking the imaginary "antifa", and tweeting photos of few protesters who got carried away and did bad things.

Doing bad things when protesting is subjective - depends on your position.  Dicks with military guns assembling on state government building steps and threatening war and loyalty to the POTUS is ok - apparently.  On the global scene, the US has been and still is a great sponsor of terrorists portrayed as "freedom fighters" - the targets just change.

Oh but Antifa are real, y'know...the turncoat said so himself.

Next thing he'll be calling QAnon "real and credible" too.

Scott Adams is a whiny bore:

https://www.thewrap.com/dilbert-creator-scott-adams-says-his-upn-show-was-canceled-because-he-was-white/

His show gets cancelled "because he is white" despite having terrible ratings, and it's "happened before" despite his own acknowledgement of the same situation - the show had low ratings.

Many years ago I was crazy about Dilbert. I worked for a large US corporation (almost twenty years) and could relate to some of the stuff in those cartoons. I even bought what was, back then, one of the first attempts at digital publishing, on a Palm Pilot. It didn't work so I emailed Scott Adams about the problems. He replied by sending me an autographed copy of the book, which I still have.

Little did I know, twenty years ago, he would turn crazy.

Depressing, isn't it? Like I said, he is more than welcome to his political views but Jeez, he doesn't need to be such a dick about it.

I wonder how many people still actually read Dilbert (the new ones) on a daily basis now?

I also found Scott! In the audience at one of Trump's rallies! Incredible eh?

I hope the polls are right. As I said I remember in 2016, everyone in the world thought Hillary was going to win - hell, all the polls said so. But we all know how that turned out :(

Don Jr.'s girlfriend tests positive for Covid 19 (MSNBC). It is coming closer, Trump. It is going to get you. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Well speaking of crazy, McAfee is running for president for 2020.

McAfee doesn't make Trump look like a stable genius, but he does make Trump look stable. McAfee may make Gary Busey and Woody Harrelson look stable.

Just what the USA needs. Another rich old white guy to park his ass in the oval office.

I don't think that bloke has much of a shot, though. Last third-party candidate to win any states was in 1968: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1968_United_States_presidential_election
