Wall street is poised for a 3% drop on opening based on futures trading now.
IIRC, there's expectation that a Trump win would result in an immediate 10% drop.

Hopefully Trump will win.  If he does it will be small margin.  I don't like either. Trump is not a nice person it seems but certainly not evil. I feel Clinton is quite evil looking at her history as Secretary of State and Clinton foundation overall.  Under Obama USA has become weak.  Under Clinton I fear we will very quickly enter world war 3.  Time will tell. So I hope Trump does win as better of the 2 candidates

You hope for who? It won't be good for NZ, especially as the TPPA will then likely be dead, and all the millions we have spent on it will be wasted. What someone looks like doesn't come into it. Why is WW3 more likely under Clinton? The last war they got involved with was under Republican leadership, not the democrates.

There's anti-establishment feeling in NZ - people who'd like to see the world economy and trade take a hit, look forward to turmoil etc.

I guess that is what happens when the divide between rich and poor gets bigger. Over the last 10 years it has gotten worse in NZ too as proven at https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/pensioners-hit-hardest-inflation-gap-between-rich-and-poor-widens

I don't dispute that - shooting yourself in the head won't fix that problem though, as it appears America is likely to find out.

Where do you guys look at all the nitty gritty? GOogle page just shows a headline xx vs xx grand total

CNN and Fox

I'm not sure how they are making some of the state predictions when some states haven't even started counting votes though.

I thought I'd look at each is CNN tends to be biased Democrat where Fox is biased Republican.

Daily Telegraph website is headlining a slim lead for Trump at the moment.

If Trump wins all the states he is currently leading in (some have only counted less than a quarter of the votes), then he'll get the presidency if I've added things up properly.

Looks that way, although some of them are currently very close - less than half a percent in it. Looks like he'll get Florida though. He's about 1.5% ahead with less than 1% left to count.

And on that note, I'm going to retreat to fantasy world and play Elite: Dangerous for a while.

NY Times have gone from a 90% chance of Clinton victory yesterday. Now Trump win sits at 77%.

This is absolutely ridiculous.
