Case-mortality is around 3% in USA. The mortality risk doubles for Trump's age group. So, 6%, six in one hundred cases in Trump's age group it is fatal. Taking that weird drug increases risk of death as well apparently. Presumably Trump has good medical care, he'd have to be unlucky to die from it but 6 in 100 in his age group do unfortunately.

I've read a few news stories indicating ordinary Americans must pay to get a covid test in many places if no insurance, and if you have insurance it might not cover it or associated costs. This story gives some idea how bad it is:

nuts, nuts, nuts, nuts... nuts, crazy.

Go virus. I am on your side in at least one case.

No way, he needs to be healthy enough for a couple of years jail, then stroking out while cleaning up French Fries off the floor that a customer threw in his face as he works 80 hours a week at McD’s to pay rent in his one room bedsit.

Oh b u g g e r  you said "credible".

I was pointing out that pretty much nothing Trump says can be taken at face value unless it's been independently confirmed.

School friend of mine got tested within the last day or two for what was almost certainly hay fever but he wanted to be safe since he's looking after his elderly parents. Got a text late this afternoon saying he was all clear.

It's great to be living in a first-world country and not the US.

I am not surprised he's caught it. I am surprised in how long it took.

It was only a matter of time - coronavirus doesn't discriminate.

Must say I reckon America is the last place anyone would want to go on holiday at the moment.

Seems like he caught he after the debate - they're blaming Hicks and the servicemen and law enforcement hugging her without masks

No one knows exactly the impact on the election yet, but probably no constitutional crisis as Pence test negative

Biden tests negative

minimum 13 day quarantine still left. election in 32 days. next debate in 13 days time

more chaos can only be bad for Trumps polls numbers

but who knows what's going to happen, no one expected Boris to be in ICU

Just to be clear, Brent Terhune is a comedian.

Indianapolis comedian Brent Terhune has much bigger plans than his viral MAGA character

Indianapolis comedian Terhune routinely goes viral with videos that lampoon agitated supporters of President Donald Trump, shouting monologues recorded in a car or a room dominated by a tapestry depicting the president as a gun-toting muscle man.

The character, dubbed by Terhune as “The Redneck Y’all Love to Hate,” wears a T-shirt that shows three faces of Mike Pence howling at the moon.

Mister Responsible, socially isolating and not sharing personal items :(

Trump throws MAGA cap in crowd before announcing he had COVID-19

One day before Donald Trump announced he and his wife had tested positive for COVID-19, the President held a campaign rally where he throws two baseball caps into the crowd. At least one of the caps was picked up by a Trump supporter.

Ted Cruz, Republican-Texas Senator, 2016 presidential candidate, another Republican cuck

Daily Beast: Chris Cuomo Eviscerates Ted Cruz: Why Won’t You Stand Up for Your Wife?

Senator Ted Cruz ... came on Chris Cuomo’s CNN show Wednesday night ...

Early on in the interview, Cuomo asked Cruz about President Donald Trump refusing to condemn white supremacists and right-wing extremists during the Tuesday night presidential debate, prompting the Texas lawmaker to pivot to Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

“The press is partisan in this regard,” Cruz declared. “Ten years ago, 2010, Joe Biden gave a eulogy for [Senator] Robert Byrd who was a Klan cyclops of the KKK.”

“You’re really going to go with that?” Cuomo fired back. “You’re going to go with this weak-ass argument here?! [Senator] Byrd, who had a complete enlightenment about how hate was wrong, who changed his life, who spoke about it.”

After Cruz sarcastically pointed out that he hadn’t “eulogized a klansman,” Cuomo jumped back in and pointed out that Trump has a history of refusing to disavow racism and white supremacy before taking a personal shot at the conservative senator.

“He did it in Charlottesville, he did it with David Duke,” the CNN host exclaimed. “The old Ted Cruz, who he called Lyin’ Ted when he wasn’t insulting your wife and father. What happened to that, Ted? I don’t know if he changed or just you changed, for some reason.”

Trump has inevitably received many platitudinous "Get Well Soon" messages from other politicians.

His niece, Mary Trump, has been less sympathetic ...   😐

Remember Leonid Brezhnev? How the Party was saying how healthy he was, until the day he just died of a heart attack after some long term illness?

Bets the White House will go on saying he is always OK?
