quickymart:  I'm pretty sure even Trump can't get out of the 14 days contagious period for coronavirus. His so-called "doctor" is full of crap. ...

BBC News - US election 2020: Trump ready to return to public events, says doctor

today

US President Donald Trump has completed his course of treatment for Covid-19 and can return to public engagements this weekend, his physician has said.

Dr Sean Conley said the president had responded "extremely well" to medication and had "remained stable".

Mr Trump later said he would probably take another Covid test on Friday and hoped to hold a rally over the weekend. ...

"probably"?

The Washington Post - Isolated in the White House, Trump struggles to project a sense of normalcy after canceled debate

today

On Thursday, Trump spent an hour phoning into a television interview, released two video messages aimed at key voting groups, began planning rallies for next week and promised senior citizens free access to the experimental drug he falsely claimed was “a cure” for covid-19.

During his hour-long interview, Trump twice called Democratic vice-presidential nominee Kamala D. Harris a “monster,” made baseless spying accusations against his predecessor and attacked several members of his own Cabinet. ...

He also continued to downplay the pandemic, describing that the virus that has killed more than 212,000 Americans as little more than an inconvenience.

And, remember this, when you catch it, you get better. And then you’re immune, you know?” Trump said, adding that he believed he could have recovered from his sickness without the cocktail of multiple drugs he received.

By the end of Trump’s tour-de-force, Vice President Pence’s performance at his debate the night before had become little more than an afterthought ...

EDIT

What else did Trump say on Fox?

Addressing the issue of his health, Trump said: "I'm back because I'm a perfect physical specimen." ...

The president castigated his own team, declaring that Attorney General William P. Barr would go down in history if he did not indict Democrats like Mr. Biden and former President Barack Obama.

He complained that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo had not released Hillary Clinton’s emails ...

Hannity: Have you been tested recently?

Trump: Yeah I just saw the doctors today they think I’m in great shape. I’m in great shape.

Hannity: Did you test negative?

Trump: And I’ll tell you I took this Regeneron and it’s phenomenal.

Mental health problems?

Mental health problems?

Are you kidding? :-)  He is stark raving mad.

Did you know that one of the treatments he is taking is derived from fetal tissue from aborted pregnancies?  Not only is that in contradiction to Trump's stated position on abortion, it is also a big slap in the face for ultra Christian Mike Pence.  If Pence had any self respect or his values regards abortion actually meant anything to him, he'd resign.

pretty much, that is generally the blue vs red, urban vs rural divide

and one of reasons the electoral college exists, and how 1 rural vote can be "worth" 70 urban votes

not sounding great, coughing and clearing his throat

2 hours cumulative on Fox on the phone yesterday - what an idiot claiming or blaming Gold Star families might have given him COVID

tonight he's on-camera with Tucker Carlson, on Fox with some medical diagnosis type episode

freitasm:

The point is white supremacist right-wing extremists are the terrorists America needs to worry about.

The point is just imagine what these neanderthals are going to do when Trump loses.

Celebrate, because they hate Trump.  They think Trump is a tyrant

They are original old-school 1990s anti-Government right wing hate group domestic terrorists not white supremacists

even if Trump loses the election he may still win the Presidency - he has said he plans to take it to the SCOTUS and he wants "9 judges" installed

They already won, the record number of republican federal court judges they've put in, mostly white, will rule for decades and decades

Trump put in the 2nd highest number of court judges ever, 1/4 of current judges

If he loses in a very obvious landslide, that would be different - but I still don't see him just sitting back and accepting the election results.
